What if we reframed feedback into feedforward? If we did this we might be less inclined to believe that the purpose of feedback is for me to give you my opinion. Rather we might see the purpose of feedforward for you to give me your opinion. We might be less inclined to talk about past performance and more inclined to talk about how to improve future performance.
