It takes a radical

From my perspective, I am a pretty moderate guy.  I’ve always appreciated the role of people at the extremes, especially the radicals who are calling for change.  While I don’t usually want to go as far as they go, it takes that extreme call to action to get the rest of us to move off center.

The same is true of making a personal vision.  We can’t be moderate and expect to move anywhere.  Change is hard.  Make the vision radical.  A radical position compels us to make some movement.  If we can achieve 25% of a huge vision, it’s still more than 50% of a smaller one.
