Director’s cut
A movie gets released just one time. It either makes it or it doesn’t. Choices made by the producers and director are partially editable, but when it gets released, that’s it. In my experience of giving speeches, I get to try it once, figure out which parts work, edit those, try again, figure which parts don’t work, try again.
That’s the way life really is. Continuously editable. We don’t just have two versions–the original and the director’s cut 15 years later.
